Hi, Buddies!

What a special night I had yesterday.

BK’s 2nd Anniversary Dinner was amazing… The event was organized by L’Hotel Porto Bay, one of São Paulo’s finest, and had only my partners invited – which are all good friends already!

The guests arrived around 8h for a small cocktail with plenty of Chandon and delicious entries, such as Chèvre Cheese in a Crust of Nuts and Mandioquinha Cream with Almonds.

The manager at L’Hotel, Rúben Leme, and his loyal friend Renato Fabbri, did an incredible job. They even changed chef’s Luiz Pinheiro’s agenda so the menu would match my guests standards.

Speaking of the menu, I had to let go of my diet. For appetizers, we had a delicious Mille Feuille with Fresh Figus, Brie and little pieces of Prosciutto with Vinegar, Honey and Nuts. First course was an Artichoke Ravioli with Salvia Sauce, and, second course, either a Sirloin Steak with Red Wine Sauce and Asparagus Risotto with Roasted Shiitake or Pink Fish with Fine Herbs, Peas and Black Rice with Tangerine Sauce. As for dessert, Montovani de Zabaglione with Chocolate Syrup. I couldn’t resist, of course.

Everything happened according to my expectations. It was, actually, even better than I could have imagined. And to make it really special, Walmart.com offered a Polaroid camera as a gift to all my guests. It was super!
