Another fashion week in London has come to an end. Even though it was exclusively about women’s fashion, it was great to get to know London’s Fashion Week and see how an event that had no relevance in the fashion industry is now becoming one of the most important and respected.
I watched two fashion shows. First was Lucas Nascimento, a Brazilian stylist that is now perfoming in the land of the Queen and Burberry and always brings men’s looks to the runway. His collection was so beautiful and impressive that, at the end of the show – that, by the way, had the room packed – he was standing ovation. I was so proud to watch his success! Congratulations!
Now Burberry, as usual, had the most beautiful and desired show in the season. Not that I understand about women’s fashion or have watched other shows, but everybody was talking about Christopher Bailey’s geniality as the brand’s creative director.
Today’s outfit was shot at one of London’s fascinating streets. The weather was great and sunny, around 15º C. One of the greatest trends this season is microprints, and that’s why I chose a Riachuelo shirt with poàs (little dots) for this look. To make it a little more interesting, I wore a Missoni scarf with their famous zig-zag for a mix & match of prints.
