I have travelled a lot these past few weeks!
Miami, Stockholm, New York, London… I never stop! To cope with this travelling marathon, there is nothing better than staying at excellent hotels, such as the W Hotel Times Square. That’s where I stayed when I was in NYC with my family – my parents, my sister and Raphael. Located at one of the most famous neighborhoods in the world, the W Hotel Times Square opened in 2001 and offers a modern refuge from the heat of New York City.
It’s 509 rooms – almost a resort – were refurbished in 2008, as well as their 43 suites – including the Extreme WOW (their presidential suite). Perfectly called ‘WOW’, they were refurbished to become a real club.
Sliding doors insulate the living room from the suite and the lighting creates different settings for day and night. A table for eight people easily turns into a bar and a DJ booth. Too bad I didn’t get to stay there! Lol
Not only that, but the place’s décor is all about New York: a custom-made lamp refers to the New Year’s Eve Ball, a tradition at the Times Square réveillon party. On the walls, a mural of Peep Show, from Keren Richter, a Brookling artist, is inspired on the intense flow of people and lights crossing the neighborhood, both in the past and the present.
And for those who like excitement, the W Hotel Times Square is located right by the museums and theaters. On your next trip to NYC, make sure you stay at the W Hotel Times Square and discover all the advantages of a quiet room in the middle of the city, open showers, an incredible view of the horizon – it is really amazing – and a bed in the W standards, with 350 thread count linens and luxury bathrobes.
I want to go back soon!
