And the trip continues… Las Vegas is really fascinating! Now I understand why everybody is so interested in this peculiar and intriguing city.
According to Wikipedia, Las Vegas is the most populous city and most densely populated of the US state of Nevada. Located Southern of the state, in Clark County, it was founded in 1905, but officially became a city in 1911. According to the national census of 2010, its metropolitan area has about 1.9 million inhabitants and it’s the city with the highest growth rate in all of North America.
The city is famous by the casinos. All the most important casinos in the world, such as Bellagio, Ceasar’s Palace, Flamingo, Mandalay Bay, MGM, Monte Carlo, New York New York, Stratosphere, The Venation, Treasure Island and Wynn, where I’m staying, are located at the Las Vegas Boulevard, also known as Strip.
Three to four days are enough to get to know a great part of the city’s atrractions. Since we decided to stay a little longer, today we are going to the Grand Canyon! I’ll tell you more about that later…
Have a nice week!
