When the plaid took over the men’s shirts, more or less, since 5-years ago, and lasting until today, it seemed clear that sooner or later the brands would have to get another stamp to call men’s attention. The solution was to seek a pattern which were members of the men’s closet, but that was not usually present on shirts, and micro prints on male ties were really good.
The effect of patterning used in ties enriches the male visual, allowing combinations of plain and patterned, opening a range of new options in the outfit of modern man. With this, are becoming increasingly common other types of micro pattern as liberty, the traditional “for” or “polka dots”, and some geometric patterns.
Here, the trend is still not a fever, as in the above example the plaid, but maybe it’s just a matter of time because big stores like Riachuelo have pieces for sale, as well as Zara, Dudalina and Topman.
In addition, the Male Looking for new releases to his repertoire will probably leave in search of a piece, even if only for a brief test in the dressing room to see if it fits your style.
Have a nice week!
